What data we collect

This site has no account or signup form. If you email us, we receive the email you send.

We run Umami, a self-hosted analytics tool, to see which pages people read. It collects page views, referrer URLs, browsers, operating systems, device types and country of origin. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not track you across other websites.

We also count app download requests by channel and app version. The app tries to send one first-launch count with its version and build. It saves a sent flag on your Mac only after the count is accepted, and retries on a later launch after a failure. These counts contain no device ID or personal data. We do not send your IP address, browser details, cookies or referrer to Umami for these counts.

Why we collect it

We use an email you send only to reply to that email.

We use analytics in aggregate to understand which pages people read and which install paths work.

How we store it

Email is kept in the mailbox that receives it. We do not sell it or share it for ads.

Analytics data is stored in the Umami service we host.

Your rights

For an email you have sent us, you can ask us to:

• Access the email data we hold about you
• Delete the email data we hold about you. Just email us from the address you used before

Legal basis

We process an email you send because it is needed to respond to you, or because you ask us to do so.
